Governor’s Island is one of six bridged islands on Lake Winnipesaukee and is part of the town of Gilford, New Hampshire. Residents of Governor’s Island are a mix of year round and seasonal homeowners. The island is 500 acres and has no commercial organizations, businesses, apartments or condos on it.
