South Down Shores is a Planned Unit Development (PUD) with approximately 496 properties located in Laconia, New Hampshire and on the shore of Paugus Bay of Lake Winnipesaukee. Single family homes are spread out in nineteen condominium villages. The community has 4,000 feet of shoreline, beaches, tennis courts, basketball court, walking and XC ski trails. Some popular attractions in the are are Gunstock Mountain Resort and Bank of NH Pavilion. More resources can be found on the South Down Shores Association web site.
