Bow is a town located in central New Hampshire in the Merrimack Valley region of the state. It is situated in the Southern part of Merrimack County and encompasses a total area of 28.5 square miles, .4 of which is water. As of the 2010 United States Census, Bow was home to 7,519 people.

Bow was incorporated as a town in 1727, taking its name from its located within the bend, also called the 'bow' of the Merrimack River. Over the years, the town has been called home by a number of notable people, including Mary Baker Eddy, the founder of the Church of Christ Scientist, and Dick Sweet, a former U.S. Congressman.

Just over 1 percent of Bow's total area is made up of water. The town includes the Merrimack River and Turee Pond, and its highest point lies at Picked Hill, where elevation reaches 915 feet above sea level.
